VHB Sponsors 2011 Virginia Small Business Summit

Virginia Heritage Bank is pleased to have been a sponsor of the 2011 Virginia Small Business Summit held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at George Mason University's Mason Inn & Conference Center.

Area small businesses benefited from sessions covering Healthcare, Public Private Partnerships, Contracting & Procurement, Workforce Preparedness, Transportation as well as Small Business Strategic Planning and Small Business Banking.

In addition, Summit attendees heard from experts regarding important business trends in 2011 including accessing capital, as well as strategies for growing your business in a challenging and competitive enviroment.

Keynote speakers included the Honorable James Cheng, Commonwealth Secretary of Commerce & Trade, and Terry McAuliffe, Entrepreneur & 2009 Gubernatorial Candidate.
